Berlin Meetup
A MaWSIG Meetup took place on Wednesday 25 November 2015, in Berlin. This meetup was in association with ELTABB. Read about it on our Past events page.
Working with a co-author
Last month’s post described how a group of established authors collaborated to create a self-published book. Continuing the theme, this month Gerhard Erasmus writes about collaboration from the perspective of a less-experienced author. The MaWSIG blog features guest posts by members – please get in touch if you would like to write for us.
Oxford Meetup
This MaWSIG Meetup, in conjunction with ELT Teacher 2 Writer, was on Wednesday 23 September at The Slug And Lettuce, Oxford. Around 40 people attended and comments made during and afterwards indicate that it was a great success. We had some entertaining speakers and a surprise visit by Headway author Liz Soars.
Learning to garden
Katherine Bilsborough was the first speaker at our first PCE, and will also be joining us in Birmingham in 2016. Here she tells us about her first experience of self-publishing. The MaWSIG blog features guest posts by members – please get in touch if you would like to write for us.
Cultural conundrums
This month, Genevieve White – who we believe is our most northerly member – tells us about writing for the Far East. The MaWSIG blog features guest posts by members – please get in touch if you would like to write for us.
