In this blog post, Julie Norton and Heather Buchanan (MaWSIG Coordinator) share a short video where they talk about the presentation they gave during the MaWSIG Showcase day at the IATEFL 2022 conference in Belfast.
Julie Norton is a lecturer in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Leicester, UK and an ELT materials writer. She is co-author of the B1 level of Navigate. Julie has taught English in private language schools, universities and companies in France, Japan and the United Kingdom. Her current research interests include materials development and design and lesson study.
Heather Buchanan is a lecturer in Language Education at the University of York, UK. She is co-author of Navigate B1+ (OUP) and the Routledge Handbook of Materials Development for Language Teaching. She is interested in all things related to teacher education and development and, of course, materials writing. She is currently the MaWSIG Coordinator.
