We are delighted to announce that MaWSIG has been placed on The Fair List for its Pre-Conference Event (PCE), Writing for Digital, at the IATEFL Conference 2014.
The Fair List celebrates excellence of gender balance in plenary speakers, presenters or speaker panels at ELT events in the UK. (See www.thefairlist.org for more information.)
Events Coordinator Sophie O’Rourke says, ‘The committee is honoured to have been recognised and this is the icing on the cake for what was our inaugural year of events.
We try to ensure that all our events cover a wide range of topics, as well as showcase some of the most experienced speakers and those new to the industry. Ensuring we have a diverse range of speakers, in terms of both experience and gender, is of great importance to us.’
